  • Blackpool will begin their season with a visit from Chesterfield to Bloomfield Road on August 6th. The clash is the fist time that pool have began a season at home in three years- whilst the final matchday will see Gillingham coming to pool.
  • Scott Vernon swapped with Richie Wellens as he moves to Oldham Athletic, in a move which benefits both clubs. Whilst at Rotherham Ronnie moore made an approach for wellens. Also last season Vernon made a successful loan spell at Bloomfield road scoring 3 goals, in a short period of games.
